What is Fiscal Sponsorship?
A Gathering of the Tribes is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit arts organization. By serving as a fiscal sponsor to individual artists, authors and collaborative groups, Tribes empowers traditionally underrepresented creators to access supportive resources and fundraising tools.
As a fiscally sponsored artist, author or collaborative group:
You may apply to funders that require applicants to have 501 (c)(3) status, providing they accept fiscal sponsorship.
You will receive funding support such as application review, report reminders, assistance processing funds.
You may receive connection to new potential donors.
You will have year-round access to the Foundation Center database.
You will have your own profile page and donation button on tribes.org.
Terms and Conditions
Applicant’s activities should align with our mission. A Gathering of the Tribes charges a 10% administrative fee for fiscal sponsorship.
