Garon Willie, Assistant Art Editor/Curator

Garon Willie is an independent producer, visual artist and filmmaker. He interned for and had his portrait drawn by famed fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez before graduating from F.I.T. He worked with music legend Dr. John, traveled on the debut tour of iconic Italian rap band Articolo 31 in Italy, and was on the propaganda Films production crew of THE CULT LIVE! and Wembly Arena, London. He self-produced a series of multimedia art exhibitions based on Erotic Mythology with his company Art & Propaganda Inc. He was the first curator to hold a show at Danny Simmons Rush Philanthropic Arts’ Ain’t Nobody’s Business with Danny Simmons and Simon Watson of Simon Says Magazine. He founded Gelato! Art Salon in 2009, which has showcased Film, Fine Art, Photography, dance, Music and Performance art in multiple venues around New York and Italy. He is currently Assistant Director of the New York based Clio Art Fait, founded by Alessandro Berni, and serves as an Associate Gallery Coordinator for A Gathering of the Tribes Online.
