Chavisa Woods Tribes Retro T
About: Tribes Retro T was originally designed by Chavisa Woods and produced by Steve Cannon. This T-shirt includes a quote which Steve could often be heard at the end of readings or gallery openings where the potential funders attending donated less money that what Mr. Cannon deemed sufficient.
Steve was interested in producing a t-shirt as part of a fundraiser, that could be sold and gifted to help generate increased income for Tribes charitable programs. The first, limited edition of this shirt was released in 2004, and sold out within four months.
Tribes Retro T was is an update on the original, and was also designed by Tribes new Executive Director, Chavisa Woods, and was produced in collaboration between the Steve Cannon Estate, and A Gathering of the Tribes, with assistance from artist Itziar Barrio.
