Waiting On The World To See Us

is clock tick fake shit
a rubber dick on a fishing stick
shoe shine bristle brush
tub scrub with the powdered stuff
Spoon clang on a metal pan
Tire rim rolling to the gutter again
Pigeon poop on a plastic hood
Rain making it spread real good
Chair drag heavy pipe rusted
Muffler on the tar stripes
Bed springs hard bad sex in the yard
tick bite bad lemon
Left my dick at home again
Window slam glass crack
Don’t wanna mention my ass crack
dog chain chalkboard name
Fireworks during climate change
Broken shot glass in the bar
Broken gender another chest scar
Clock tick your pupils ain’t shit
A little lube and they might unstick
See us my darling oh see us
My love boxers on clitoris
Stuffed bras made of doves
I’ll trade you my nipples for
A peek at your dimples
Turn hot from consent our
Gender all bent while we wait
On the world to see us

New Nipple

think of threading a star to the sky
a thing not yours but of you
hydrogen burning into helium burning into skin
or the hot gestation of a new spirit
sewn into the warm glass of your body

if each star is a light of collapse and reach then let this
life lose its story

if each stitch is a song of tether and cleave then let this
body have its way

if we are meant to know each other only as history’s margins
then let the endings sever
