Stephanie Stone: Manhattan-born, Brooklyn long-time resident, singer-pianist, performing since the ‘40’s & ‘50’s, and with Irving Stone, her husband, pioneered in discovering and promoting avant-garde jazz in New York. John Zorn named the Stone in their honor.
