Catweazle Tribes Farewell Show

Catweazle Tribes Farewell Show Catweazle Club NYC will host its monthly musical showcase and release of its publication, the Catweazle Zine, at 8pm on Saturday, November 9th at A Gathering of the Tribes Gallery, 285 E 3rd St, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. As Catweazle NYC is making the move to a new location, this event will also be a celebration of the 1 1/2 years that Catweazle NYC has called Tribes its home.

Hosted by Cal Folger Day and Chris Faroe, the evening will consist of 4 acts: Rayvon Brown, the ukulele-driven trio of well-dressed, pitch-perfect songs which seemlessly combine elements from each decade from 1890 onward. Brian Fitzsousa, solid-wood singer songwriter who will definitely make a good father one day. Jim Flynn, esteemed photographer, oral-historian, and the Lower East Side's tell-it-like-it-is soul/snicker-hop/funk-jam virtuoso. Poets Of Catweazle, a blazing lineup of Catweazle's favorite poets reading throughout the night.

Refreshments will be available. Doors will open at 7:30, and the show will begin at 8pm.
