Godót - The Dough

After Hurricane Katrina, Creative Time, sent an acting group down to New Orleans. They put on a performance of Beckett's Waiting for Godót. The performance was in the 9th ward. The audience was was a mostlybwhite audience with a handful of Blacks. When they were told the play was called "Waiting for Godót" the Blacks shot back "WE ARE WAITING FOR THE DOUGH !" And the same thing is happening here, Demetri, despite the problems in Greece, as promised, Tribes is still waiting for the dough. -Steve Cannon "The Blind Guy" 11/13/2015 Happy Friday the 13th (Black Friday)
