Poem for David's Installation

Charles White. Black Pope (Sandwich Board Man). 1973. Oil wash on board, 60 × 43 7/8" (152.4 × 111.4 cm). Richard S. Zeisler Bequest (by exchange), The Friends of Education of The Museum of Modern Art, Committee on Drawings Fund, Dian Woodner, and Agnes Gund. © 2017 The Charles White Archives

Tribes' fearless leader, "Blind Guy," Steve Cannon penned this poem to accompany David Hammons' exhibit on Charles White and Leonardo DaVinci at the Museum of Modern Art. Dig i!

Sight unseen

As if in a dream

Like a theme which is really a scheme

As a man says - from the galary to the galaxy

Space is the place with modern jazz in the back (black) foreground

                              Sounds

In answer to the question does space exist in time or is it the other way around or is not space and time combined

Astrological signs - say refine and design across space in time both Leonardo Davinci and Charles White are caught up in a silent dialogue
